Reverse Timelapse: City Tower Deconstruction

Timelapse video from a fixed camera overlooking a glowing waterfront city at night. The twisting tower dominates the skyline, its neon bands pulsing against the dark horizon. Gradually, the lights extinguish floor by floor, leaving only shadows. Glass panes vanish in sequence, their reflections dissolving into the night air. The spiral balconies retract inward, curling like ribbons until they are gone. Steel frameworks unravel downward, beams sinking into the foundation as if rewound. Concrete slabs peel away, leaving only skeletal outlines before they too disappear. Cranes reappear, lowering dismantled sections neatly onto departing trucks. Finally, the cleared site flattens, streetlights dimming, and the empty waterfront stands silent once again - an open stretch of land where the tower had once risen, as though it never existed.
