Waldruhe: Porträt einer jungen Frau auf einem Baumstamm

Subject: Chin resting on hand in the shade of a tree Subject: In a tree shade surrounded by greenery, an adult woman in her 20s sits on a thick horizontal log. She turns her chest and face almost toward the front, leans slightly forward, and pulls both knees up toward her chest, placing them side by side. Her face, arms, and aligned knees come together at the center, a close - range seated pose. ;Person - expression: A small, soft oval face, with a rounded chin that tapers into short cheeks. Large, rounded brown eyes relative to the face, delicate eyelashes and light shadows under the eyes, thin eyebrows, anda small nose. She closes her lips with a pale pink glossy sheen, slightly raising the corners of her mouth as she gazes at the camera. Her skin isa bright ivory tone witha faint peach tint, and her cheeks carrya light pink flush. Light brown hair flows in loose waves past her shoulders down to around her collarbone, framing both sides of her face. Fine, sheer bangs and small stray hairs at the edges. ;Clothing - pose: A white, thin camisole - style top, layered loosely witha white shirt left open at the front, slipping slightly off one shoulder. A small decorative clasp sits at the chest, with natural wrinkles in the fabric. The palm of her hand on the right side of the frame rests against her cheek, her elbow propped on her knee. The opposite forearm crosses in front of both knees from the left side of the frame, her hand dangling loosely toward the right. She brings her knees close together, lowering her shins down toward the front bottom .;Background - light: The seating surface isa thick log with rough bark, and behind her there are diagonal branches, tree trunks, green leaves, and small grass. Sunlight filtering through the leaves brightens the top of her head, the outer edges of her hair, and the white fabric. Soft diffused light wraps around the front of her face, keeping her eyes and cheeks bright with shallow shadows. In the background, round bokeh of yellowish - green light scatters .;Composition - camera: 3:4 vertical orientation. A close - up composition facing the seated figure, viewed froma height near her face witha slight downward angle. Her face occupies the upper area largely, her drawn - up knees sit at the center, and her legs from the knees down fill the lower area, with small margin above her head. Her feet continue beyond the bottom edge of the frame. Her eyes, mouth, and the forearm stretching horizontally are rendered sharply, while the trees are smoothly blurred to make her stand out .;Texture - style: A bright, soft, finely refined portrait photograph. The fine texture of her skin is subdued, preservinga light flush on her cheeks anda small highlight on the tip of her nose and lips, with smooth shading across her face. The softness of her pale skin and white fabric contrasts with the rough bark of the horizontal log. Despite the warm rim light on her hair and the green background, her facial tones remaina pale ivory and peach .
