The Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) is a machine learning institute based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Established in 2002, Amii focuses on advancing artificial intelligence research and translating that knowledge into practical applications for industry. The institute partners with companies to adopt and grow AI technologies, working with more than 300 organizations since its inception. Amii is one of the three founding institutes of the Pan-Canadian Artificial Intelligence Strategy, alongside Montreal's Mila and Toronto's Vector Institute.

Amii originated in 2002 as the Alberta Ingenuity Centre for Machine Learning (AICML), a collaborative initiative between the Government of Alberta and the University of Alberta. The centre was established to foster machine learning research and its application in the province. In 2017, the organization rebranded as Amii and relocated to a large, open-concept collaborative office in downtown Edmonton, signaling a shift toward a more industry-facing and integrated approach.
