Stylized 2D Painterly Jazz Club Animation

Stylized 2D painterly animation, flat graphic shapes with NO outlines - forms defined purely by smooth gradients and hard-edged dramatic light shapes, faceted angular faces, muted cinematic palette with deep shadows, textured grain over everything, like a moody noir animated short. Close-up of a Black man in a dark suit and tie inside a dim jazz club, a single warm amber key light carving a sharp geometric triangle of light across his face, the rest sinking into darkness. He glances slowly to one side, then the other, eyes catching the light, then raises a saxophone to his lips and begins to play, fingers moving on the keys, shoulders swaying gently. As he plays, the camera pulls back in one slow continuous zoom out and the lighting shifts from warm amber to cool blues and lilacs - violet rim light on his suit, blue wash across the room - gradually revealing the jazz club around him: silhouetted couples slow-dancing, patrons at small round tables with glowing drinks and tiny lamps, a double bass player and pianist in the shadows, red curtain and haze in the air, hard shafts of colored light cutting across the smoke. Movement is smooth but sparse and deliberate, characters as elegant flat-shaded shapes with sharp light planes, film grain and subtle texture throughout, cinematic framing, no dialogue, melancholic and cool.
