Sniper Last Look Scene

The sniper carefully unloads the rifle and places it beside him. He removes his gloves and rubs his tired hands together. The city continues moving far below. A distant ambulance siren echoes between the buildings. He looks once more through the empty scope. The rooftop across the city is now deserted. The woman and child are gone. The man with the medical case remains beside the disabled device. The sniper closes his eyes for a moment. Then he stands, picks up his rifle, and walks away from the parapet into the dark stairwell. The camera remains fixed on the empty rooftop as rain continues falling. CUT TO BLACK.
