Documentary Portrait of a Lighthouse Keeper

Handheld documentary style, 24mm lens, natural light, slight camera breathing. A weathered woman in her seventies wearing a thick wool sweater sits in a cluttered lighthouse room, storm-grey window light falling across her face. Visible skin texture, pores, salt-worn detail. She looks slightly off-camera and speaks with a dry half-smile: "Forty-one years. People ask if I got lonely. I say - lonely from what?" She glances down, then back up. Shallow focus. Audio: her voice close and warm with natural room reverb, wind buffeting the windows, a distant foghorn, the creak of her chair.
